Situation
A dam wall, a steep slope above a water reservoir. Thousands of square meters of grass that must be mowed regularly to stay stable and functional. But every liter of diesel that could leak from a fuel-driven machine into the soil threatens the most precious resource — drinking water.

A diesel machine near a water source means contamination risk. Leaks of fuel, oil and operating fluids can contaminate groundwater and surface water. Dam slopes are also dangerous, heavy equipment risks losing stability. And finding workers willing to repeatedly mow steep slopes near water is increasingly difficult.
