Situation
A landfill slope. Tens of meters of vertical drop covered by a grass blanket that is the only protection against erosion and contaminant leaks. Mowing here isn't aesthetics, it's a necessity. But every pass of a heavy machine along the same line creates ruts and damages the surface.
Problem
Heavy equipment destroys what it's supposed to protect. Repeated passes along the same track create ruts and damage the turf cover, the very layer that prevents erosion. Diesel machines also bring fire risk to the landfill. And nobody wants to work on a landfill. Smell, hazards, monotony.

An autonomous machine that alternates routes to keep the turf cover intact. Lightweight, electric, no operator needed.
Raymo SAM weighs a fraction of a regular tractor (230 kg vs. 1–2 t). Low ground pressure minimizes surface damage. And thanks to autonomous GPS-RTK navigation, Mission Planner can automatically alternate mowing routes, one season from the left, another from the right. The turf cover stays evenly loaded and healthy.
The electric drive eliminates fire risk on the landfill. No sparks, no fuel, which is especially critical in zones with biogas emissions. The operator doesn't have to climb the slope. The machine mows autonomously along a pre-programmed route and reports status via the portal.
