Situation
A pipeline protection zone. A refinery with kilometers of piping and tanks. Locations where the smallest spark can mean catastrophe.
Yet vegetation must be maintained regularly, for access to equipment, fire prevention and safety regulations.
Problem
A combustion engine near a pipeline means unacceptable risk. Strict safety rules limit human and equipment access, only certified operators, complex permitting, coordination with operations.
A diesel machine introduces ignition and fire risk. And vegetation grows anyway. Without mowing, dry grass is itself a fire hazard.
SOLUTION
Zero emissions. Zero ignition. Zero people in the protection zone.
But 100% mowed.
Raymo SAM is fully electric, no combustion engine, no sparks, no exhaust. The machine mows autonomously inside pipeline and refinery protection zones without requiring any human entry. A universal mounting console allows attachment of towed equipment, including the upcoming platform for herbicide application via atomizers.
That platform will expand Raymo SAM into chemical protection as well, mowing and herbicide application in a single autonomous cycle, with no human entry into the safety zone at any point.
