Situație
A vineyard with conventional trellised structure. An orchard with mature trees. A fruit-orchard site with grass cover between the rows. Grass strips need maintenance — for fire prevention, ecology and appearance. And in drier southern Europe, fire prevention is a matter of farm survival.
Problemă
Large machines don't belong in narrow rows — tractors strip lower branches, damage fruit and injure trunks. Specialized narrow mowers exist but still require an operator who spends hours driving back and forth monotonously. A diesel tractor for row mowing is expensive and adds fire risk in olive groves.

Spider Electric 2.0 has a lower 72 cm profile than the traditional Spider 2.0 (92 cm) and fits under most trellised vineyards and mature orchards. GPS-RTK navigation with centimeter precision keeps the machine exactly in the middle of the row. The operator can prune, spray or do other skilled work in the meantime.
For very narrow/low rows (young plantings, intensive olive groves with structures under 75 cm), Raymo (50 cm) is the first choice. For large traditional vineyards with conventional wide rows over 92 cm, the combustion-powered Spider Autonomous 2.0 makes sense (higher productivity, refueling).
