Situation
A dam wall, a steep slope above a water reservoir. Thousands of square meters of grass that must be regularly mowed to remain stable and functional. But every liter of diesel that could leak from a fuel-driven machine into the soil threatens the most precious resource — drinking water.
Problem
A combustion machine near a water source = contamination risk. Leaks of fuel, oil and hydraulic fluids can contaminate groundwater and surface water. Dam slopes are also dangerous — heavy equipment risks losing stability. And finding workers willing to repeatedly mow steep slopes near water is increasingly difficult.
