About Raymo SAM

Raymo SAM (Spider Autonomous Module + Raymo) is a new autonomous electric slope mower created by adding SMAUT autonomy to the proven Raymo platform. It combines all the advantages of the electric RC mower Raymo with full autonomy driven by GPS-RTK navigation, sensors and AI.

Raymo is manufactured in Havlíčkův Brod by Raymo s.r.o. SNT / SMAUT distributes the machine across Czechia and the EU under the Raymo brand and adds the autonomous stack and fleet management on top.

What makes Raymo SAM?

Raymo base machine

  • 100% electric drive: average power consumption only ~1.5 kWh/h (0.9–2.5 kWh depending on grass density)
  • Li-Ion battery 50.4 V / 150 Ah (~7.56 kWh) in modular POWERSWAP. Cartridge swap in under 1 minute
  • Charging from a standard AC outlet: 25 A charger 6 h, 50 A Dual charger 3 h, no special installation
  • Runtime per charge: 4–6 hours (150 Ah version)
  • Ultra-low profile: only 51 cm tall, mowing under solar panels, benches and trees
  • 4WD + Zero Turn steering: slopes over 45° certified, exceptional stability and maneuverability

Zero-emission mowing that actually pays off

Raymo SAM draws just 1.5 kWh/h on average. At a typical annual workload of 175 ha, that saves up to 2,000 L of fuel, 4.6 t of CO₂ and approximately €3,900 per year compared to a combustion mower of comparable class. In solar parks, running costs drop to effectively zero. Raymo charges from the same panels it maintains, a closed, fully zero-emission cycle.
